Methodology

How We Work

Four disciplines, each essential and none sufficient alone — including the one most firms skip: seeing the work through.

01

Listen

We invest more time in listening than most firms spend on analysis. Understanding the full texture of a problem — its history, its stakeholders, the constraints no one names — is the prerequisite for any advice worth giving.

We ask the questions others skip. We read between the lines, and we take nothing at face value.

02

Analyse

Rigorous, independent examination of the evidence — the data, the market, the competitive field, and the organisation's own reality. We stress-test assumptions, trace second- and third-order effects, and build frameworks that reveal rather than confirm.

Because we hold no stake in the transaction and earn nothing from the path you choose, the analysis answers to the evidence alone.

03

Advise

Clear, direct, evidence-backed recommendations. We tell you what you need to hear, not what is easy to say — and when the evidence points somewhere inconvenient, we present it fully and without softening.

We don't deal in ambiguity. The advice is specific, actionable, and comes with the whole of our reasoning.

04

Execute

This is where most advice ends, and ours doesn't. We stay embedded through implementation — and when the plan calls for a system or software that doesn't yet exist, we build it. It's the same capability behind our own ventures, Tidaly and the Pipelytic Marketing Engine.

We measure the work by the durability of the outcome, not the elegance of the deck. Accountability for the result shapes everything about how we operate.

In Practice

Working With Us

Every engagement is bespoke, but the way we run them rarely changes: rigorous, direct, and built to last. We work as a small, senior team — no layers between the people who shape the strategy and the people who deliver it, and no handoff to junior staff.

Senior-led delivery

The people who shape the strategy are the ones who carry it out — from the first conversation through to the result.

Long-term perspective

We measure success by the durability of the outcome, not the duration of the engagement.

Client confidentiality

What clients bring us stays private. We don't discuss, name, or reference client work.
